just wanted to take a moment to congratulate the team cheergyms teams that competed today and share the results.

wilcox - 2nd place (small varsity novice)
monta vista - 1st place (large varsity novice)
slv - 1st place (varsity intermediate)

SLV=San Lorenzo Valley. I think they are from the Santa Cruz area.

Hey if anyone was at the competition at Deer Valley Saturday can you tell me how James Logan did in the large varsity novice division. This is their first competition in about 8+ years.

I think James Logan got either 5th or 6th place, but i'm not sure.

Thanks "bia x bia" on the info about James Logan. Hopefully this opened their eyes to what it really takes to compete. Most of the girls are cheering for the first time and the coach is new. At least they ventured into the competition arena. This school is HUGE and could develop a great cheer program if they put the effort, energy, and money into it.
