I need to know a little more information about Las Vegas...one of them is where is the competition located, what day should we arrive to Las Vegas..and what flights everyone is taking...and what hotels are close enough to the competiton:confused
OK. I just booked my flight & hotel. We need to be in Vegas on Saturday, & we compete Sun & Mon. Competition should end late on Mon, so get a late flight out or wait until Tues. The venue is the "Cashman Center" which is near the Freemont street (or Downtown) area of Vegas.
PS. I have a room to myself, so if anyone is interested in sharing a hotel room with me, shoot me an email at yockeyzo@msu.edu. It's only a mile or 2 to the competition site & we'd split $73/night for a 4-star hotel.
Saturday, I think we need to be there before 6pm. Flight information needs to be emailed to Jeff.
I would recommend flying back home on Tuesday. In the past we have been the lsat team to perform on Monday- which has gone as late as 9:30 or so which makes it almost impossible to catch a flight. If you need to be back by Tuesday, I advise you try for the earliest Tuesday morning flight. From my experience (I've done both scenarios) Tuesday is the best way to go since you never know how behind the competition schedule might get or where we are in the performance line up.
