These are just my opinions. And would like to hear yours. Again, these aren't "one hit wonders" persay, but teams that are no longer around and gyms that have gone really down, by amount of cheerleaders.

I dont really care for this comment. I feel like naming teams and then stating that they have gone down hill really diminishes the hard work and the wonderful memories that former team members have.
All of the above mentioned teams have talented athletes and if the team no longer exsists I hope that they have found a new gym to shine at!
I have to agree, especially regarding the gym(s) that still exist. Why put the fact that their enrollment is down in the spotlight, in a poll asking which one used to be good?
I just don't care for polls in general that single out particular gyms and leave others out, whether it's positive or negative. Just my take on it.

I'm sorry you didn't care for the comment. But that's you're opinion and youre intitled to it. Maybe I didn't word it right.. but again.. They aren't "one hit wonders" persay, but teams that aren't here anymore ... and teams that are barely here.. that used to be really big.
My girls used to be with a gym on the list, and they have found a great home, But i sure wished the other team would have stuck around.
I know what you mean about wishing some gyms that are gone could have stuck around. I'm just thinking how would you feel if your daughter were still on one of the gyms you mentioned? Coming on this message board and seeing a poll asking if that failing gym is one that used to be good? And what about the gyms that closed last year you didn't include in your poll, a couple obvious ones you left out. It's just good to try to see all sides and how it might impact others before posting, putting yourself in the place of someone who might be hurt or offended. One thing is certain, it's not easy keeping gyms up and running long term these days ... kudos to those who have been successful!

My daughters were on two of the teams mentioned on the list actually. I don't know of any other teams / gyms that closed last year besides the ones mentioned. It's sad to see gyms close and we really loved our old gym and wish they were here still.
Definitely Kudos on those gyms that are still here rocking!
