Oh, I have lots of blankets for you. I'm sitting on my BB right now with 4 blankets over my lap and feet, with the fireplace going. And I am in CALIFORNIA! Whats with that? If it has to go below 60degrees in Cali at least we should get some snow with it.
Why do people come on here and pretend to be from particular gyms, making them look bad? I know better than to think any comments like we're the only one that matters is just trying to stir trouble for the gym they're claiming to support. Most can see right through it and know what to ignore (hopefully anyway).
Yes, please feel sorry for us poor spoiled Californians - freezing at 53 degrees. I'm in a t-shirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants, multiple blankets and am shivering. My fingers can barely type.
When I get like this my hubby always laughs at me. He is born and bred NorCal, my family travelled, born in MO, lived in ID - and he's the one telling me "It's not that cold!"
I had to take my daughter to school this morning at 6:30am and actually had to scrape ice off my windshield. But I just don't think we're going to get any sympathy from CPGB members from the midwest or east coast.
But really, they should feel sorry for us. We don't even own winter clothes. How can we keep warm with flip flops, tshirts, and shorts as our typical winter attire? And that fireplace I cranked up today? I don't think it has been used for at least 5 years.
I also had ice on my windshield. But I did the unacceptable in colder regions - I used the wiper's mister to eventually clear it off. What else could I do, I don't have an ice scraper.
See another reason to feel for us - no ice scraper to use once every 2-3 years. AHHHHH the horrors!
Okay, I have to confess. I really didn't have an ice scraper. I used the wipers too. But I didn't want to admit my faux pax. Especially since I grew up in the midwest! I should know better.

I heard CPGB had some great blender drinks. Do you think any of those would keep us warm instead of all those blankets we're trying to use? I'll contact CPGB and ask them for their recipes. Stay tuned.
