Has anyone noticed that many cheer gyms websites are VERY uniformative our outdated. Now cheergyms.com is always updated and has new stuff on it at least every other week. I think thats why people come on this board so much because there is always something new about their website in general. Most cheerleading gyms have basic or NO information other than staff and some class schedules. Some don't even have that. In our society everyone is so web based your sites should be just as good as the gym themselves. If gyms want to truely reach that business stage then open up some information. Everyone doesn't always want to call or register as a member. Seriously what can be that secret about cheerleading. There are specific member items, but not many so owners step it up and put more time on those sites you pay alot of money for. I know how much Jams designs charges for those pages. Get your investment out of them.

I never visit cheergyms website. The message board is a direct link on my favorites, totally bypassing the regular website. The reason most people come here is the message board. I doubt if the majority of the people that come here are actually visiting the other sections. I know I'm not. I didn't even know they had videos posted from their competition last season, until I read about it on the message board.
You've never been to ours then. I update it several times a week. I would LOVE for you to visit! I put in so many hours in to it. It's really tough to keep up on the site when you do so many other things, but I feel the same way about other sites. That's why I work so hard on it!
Yea, well those sites are easy to work with, the people are WONDERFULLY helpful and some of us don't have the time to create and keep up an original site (that should be pretty obviouse since 50% of the gyms don't do anything at all, even the cookied cutter ones)
It's tough for me to keep up with 23 teams, 360+ kids, events, calenders, team updates, etc. There's A TOOOONNNNNNN that you don't see on our site that only our parents do. If you were to log in to our members area, you would find a calendar that has every event, every party, birthdays, holidays, times for competiions, directions to competitions, flight info, individual team updates from team reps and coaches and staff, and so much more.
So even though the cookie cutter sites bore you, at least they offer those of us who have large gyms a way to keep in contact with our parents in every area. They are very easy to use and I appreciate them so much. I know I put more effort in to ours than most do, but our parents are informed CONSISTANTLY. We don't need to send out emails or flyers cause everything they need is on that site.
I would LOVE to have an original site, but I tell you, there's NO WAY I could offer our gym what I do. So I just LOVE Jam Spirit sites. They make my life so much easier. We also just opened up www.picturethischeer. com..... just this week and that isn't quite as cookie cutter. Oh man I wish it was!!!!!

Ok ,well many of us like to look at cheer sites other than just message boards. We like to know whats going on and in a POSITIVE light. These boards such as pro x, CA, and this one are just breeding grounds for drama. It would be good to actually get some good information and news and not rankings for worlds, level 5 drama, and one more way to cut down NCE or Cheer Force. LOL I think its just good for everyone to see how every team is doing.
That's what I like too. I like to see what everyone else is doing in their gym and how their gym looks, etc. That's why I include what I do in ours. I try to imagine what everyone wants to see.
What is the link to the CA message boards. I like to read this one, Pro X is a little much. Is CA for California teams as well? Can you please give me the link?
