We here alot about the leve 5 teams, and the teams from the bigger gyms. What about some of the smaller gyms. Hey they may not be in contention for a bids to worlds, but how are they doing so far this season. Any standouts this year?
there is just drama period. Why is that? People look for any little mistake or error. How many times in your life do you make a mistake per day. You wouldn't want everyone pointing them out to you on a DAILY basis like this board LOL..
Anyways these are the gyms that are standing out to me in Nor Cal
Cheer Odyssey Starstruck University Cheer Force Club Spirit Athletic Perfection California Spirit A****er Sports Academy
I've saw Caliornia Spirit perform in San Jose and loved thier dance. I've seen alot of really good Senior Level 3 teams this year. I really enjoy watching all the teams big or small perform. Going to be a great year. Good luck to everyone.
I think that people assume that NCE, Cheergyms.com and Power are these large gyms. Some of these other gyms have been around LONG time and are quite large. Quality of teams does not directly correlate to size of gym. Great teams= small gyms, bad teams from=large gyms.
The only small gyms listed are Cali Spirit and Rosevile. The other ones are just as large as NCE, Cheergyms and Power

i think Roseville cheer stars is a good example of a small gym. They seem to always have decent level teams, great and LOUD team spirit (those cheer sticks hahahaha) and a positive atomosphere.

Dont get me wrong I love my team but we are not even close to being as big as Cheergyms or Power. Some day.. but not now.
wouldn't a small gym be a program with less than say 60 kids or so?
because both starstruck and cheer odyssey have over 100 kids. i think both are actually closer to 150. they've both been around for 5 years and have multiple titles, i think this also goes for athletic perfection who i believe is on their 6th.
no they aren't powerhouses like power, but they have great programs with consistent teams. I actually think they're beginning to step it up alot, especially recently.

how many kids does motions and nce have?
None of the above listed are new or small. They have all been around for along time.

NCE is new... They used to be South Bay Elite. New owner, new building, new location, and new staff. Does anyone know how many staff memebers or cheerleaders moved over o NCE from SBE? The only thing that us the same is the color and Roy was not the owner of SBE and he might not even be the owner now.
I don't consider NCE a new gym. Most of the kids from SBE our on NCE. Owner or not he did the choreography for both teams. New uniforms but really the same teams. You guys are still good but your not really a new gym.
