I think nemisis is going to win. theyve had a few bad performances but theyre too good to have a third. plus I heard theyve added alot of talent since. motions is good but they dont push the envelope enough and I also heard they lost one of their guys. cheer odessey has good choreography but not enough level 5 skills to beat nemisis.
i think bashing can be avoided as long as everyone remembers that they are just opinions and people who post do their best to try and state their case rather than revert to negativity.
I have to go with Motions. They have the skills and energy. They've been competing at that level for a while and know what it takes to win, especially having been at Worlds. It should be fun to watch that division!
OK, my head says Motions, but my heart says Odyssey. CO is like the little gym that could! Odyssey you work it, you give all of us little gyms that David and Goliath warm fuzzy feeling! Good luck to all!
It doesn't really matter...the real competition is against the two "unlimited coed teams"...Motions and Nor-Cal. CO has less than 4 four boys, they are in the limited coed. CO brought it at JAMZ, but definitely not comparable to coed teams that has more than 10 boys on it!!!! CO will never see them at any nationals. I'm a Nor-Cal fan... I haven't seen them yet but i think they will take it!!!
I don't think of CO as the little engine that could, lol. They are hardly a little gym. They've been around for years, are well established, and have more teams than the other two gyms they're competing against (remember the gyms under the cheergyms umbrella are still separate gyms). I was trying to recall if they (CO) had an advanced team a few years ago, maybe they can answer that. Anyway, it will be hard for them to win but I hope they do well score-wise. I really think if they keep adding more difficulty to their routine they'll go far in their new level. They were a lot of fun to watch last weekend.
Throwing me off wrote: Ok, i swear I have dyslexia. I see CO and then have to reread it because I'm not sure I see OC. Time for bed.
That is funny, my husband could not figure out why the people sitting in back of us at Jamz Las Vegas kept chanting OC OC OC OC. He is not really up on his cheer teams!
far more talented and creative in my opinion .. they jsut haven't done too well so far this season..but i think their routine will by far be the showiest and most creative. they hands down always have the best dances and flexible little flyers. im really hoping they do well. i hope all 3 do well so we can see who is truly the best [ eventhough i think it will come down to NCE and Motions ]

As someone stated earlier CO isn't supposed to be in that category but they were put there since they had no competition. They only have 3 or 4 boys,... could have exhibitioned but chose not to. I think they will do ok, good for them for staying there no matter what the outcome is. Good luck to all of the teams.
The other day I was online and noticed a new gym had opened and they call themsst know that we ARE NOT Orange County All Stars. We really go by JUST OC! Even in the article on my daughter in Inside Cheerleading Magazine, they wrote out Orange County. Uggggg
Im not sure what the big deal is compteting with large coed. There are small all girls teams against large ones. There are junior teams that have 12 that are competing against teams with 35. If your routine is solid then you should be ok. It happens where small teams beat large teams. i do not think that is a good excuse.
I have to agree; and I don't think CO's weakness is in the lack of boys on that team. I think their stunts are more level 4 than 5, and that's something they can work on. Otherwise they have a strong entertaining routine, I'm rooting for them to do well regardless of how many male members they have. Do a lot of competitions divide large co-ed into limited and unlimited divisions?
NCE - high energy, super creative, lots os skill. but sticking it is obviously hard for them to do. if they could hit that routine it would def beat out the other two. so we'll see? comon NCE you can do it.
Motions- more traditional cheerleading if you ask me. thats why they are always clean, always stick their routine, and always place well. they know what their doing and how they have to conquer it on the floor. if NCE messes up, Motions witll def win.
I have never seen CO so I cant put my two cents in.
