I Looked at scores too! Yes, in some div. Power was very close with other teams. But look at all the div. Jr 5 and senior 5 for instance...not even close! But yes, teams in Nor Cal are def. bringing it to the mat!
I agree. While I love to watch Power, I was wondering how they won a couple of the catagories. My questions were answered when I saw the penalty point deductions. It is going to be a great cheer season!
I was suprised to see that POWER had a Youth level 1, Youth level 2, and Senior level 2, teams. I didn't know they had anything other than level 3 for youth and above. They all looked really good anyway.

John is a genious, having multiple teams at different levels allows him to include all kids in his program while they are obtaining their tumbling skills.
Power has new kids tho their program so thier proper placement would be level 1 and 2. There certainly is nothing wrong with that. those teams looked great this past weekend and should be so proud of themselves. I like the senior level 2's routines. both of them had fun dances
I hope your didn't think that I was questioning Powers ways, I am actually very impressed with the fact that they do have lower level teams. As much attention that is placed on the 4 and 5 teams, I was glad to see that Power does not only have 3 and above. Other than my team, Power is my favorite to see. Good Luck all!

I agree I was not aware that they had youth teams at Level 1 I remember their lowest team last year besides their Tiny team was a mini level 3. It was a nice surprise to see that even the girls on their Level 1 team had good jumps and a dance section like any other Power team and they shook their things just like power. It wasn’t watered down like some teams do to accommodate their beginners. Also their tinies man way to shake them hips
