I was at the comp at UCLA and saw some outstanding routines by the CF kids. The tumbling for those solo's are crazy. I have never seen anybody start a tumbling pass from a sitting postion (butt on the mat) and end with a double full like Kiara did. I asked a CF parent if these kids have working on their solo's very long and was told this comp is just a tune-up for a Dec. comp in Vegas. Well, Good luck CF kids- You young ladies were outstanding.
No. Last year we had one and this year we have one. We do have one group stunt that didn't compete yesterday. The kids that COULD compete just don't want to. My daughter doesn't want to but she's on 3 teams, so she just doesn't have time. (the 3 teams aren't in OC, the other 2 are her HS cheer and HS Comp team) Many of the kids here do lots of other things outside of cheer as well, so that could be a huge part of it.
I'm still trying to get the final standing for you.
I saw those CF solo's on Saturday. Great showing. Are most of those CF kids on the Diamonds team ??? and Kiara's tumbling was something to see. I'm glad I went to check it out.
so kiara is in the youth division 9 to 11, which means she cannot do the small coed at usa or uca because of the you have to be 12yr old rule? correct me if I am wrong. Or maybe cheerforce isn't going to usa
wondering wrote: so kiara is in the youth division 9 to 11, which means she cannot do the small coed at usa or uca because of the you have to be 12yr old rule? correct me if I am wrong. Or maybe cheerforce isn't going to usa
Not able to go to a USA Nationals?..............whooo, big loss missing out on going to that wonderful competition. :)
nope you missed the point, I am wondering if she is old enough, not debating the attributes or lack thereof of usa or uca. Next year I bet that all USASF sanctioned divisions for seniors will be 12 and up. CF seems to have alot of younger talent and the age old debate that senior aged girls should be on senior aged teams is of interest to me. I am just curious no need to be defensive when you have 7 or 8 girls all under the age of 11 amazing enough to through standing fulls and double fulls. I personally think that they should stay in the junior division. Just my opinion, the 15 and 16 year girls with hips and periods then can continue to fly etc. . But yes this year it is within the rule and cheerforce is tearing it up, so more power to you.
First of all I am female, and my point is that 15 and 16 year old girls flying and tumbling is vastly different than 10 and l11 year olds, get your mind out of the gutter. Everything changes when puberty strikes
So if the age changes to 13 then Kiara and the other young girls at CF will not ba-able to compete in the Senior division ??? If that rule changes then Kiara will not beable to compete at Worlds for 3 yrs ??? Is that correct ???
I highly doubt next season it will go to 13 probably 12 and I am not sure what that amazing little tumblers age is but, in theory if she is 10 as of May 2006 and the age limit is changed (which I strongly believe will happen) yes her and others will not be able to compete in the Senior divisions but will still have an opportunity to compete with Juniors. I personally think Seniors and Juniors should be divided with bottoms and top ages respectively just like any other sport

The youngest kid on diamondz is almost 11 and all the diamondz are middle school or older, stop guessing! As far as the solo's, all were on DIAMONDZ for WORLDZ (s) last year except Molia and Chynne. Remember, this was the 3rd place team. Don't worry, these kids can hang.
