Senior Limited coed Elevated 5 is definied by USA as:
1-4 males (limited part), age 12-18 (elevated part), 5-35 members, and is Worlds qualifying division.

USASF does not have "elevated" listed on their divisions. The age limit from USASF for Senior teams is "18 years and younger."

USA decided to limit the lower age range for a senior team. This would effect teams like CheerForce because I think Kiara isn't 12 yet.

Which gyms merged to become Fusion, and which teams are small vs. large? Just wonderin, thanks!

Powerhouse, Clovis Elite and United All Stars merged to make Fusion.

Not sure what teams are large or small as USA doesn't have this competition split between large or small. If you are really interested you can go to Fusion web site and count the number of kids listed on each team.

Can anyone from Fusion give us some insight into what happened to your Fusion Force Coed team? Looks like at tryouts you had at least 4 boys and now Fusion Force is an all girl level 5 team. Just interested because Clovis Elite had received Worlds bids for their Coed team and we were looking forward to the combined teams bringing a great Coed team to the floor and going for another bid.

Before all the rumors start back up.

No we did not recruit any of the fusion/ clovis elite boys. They came on their own. Apparently their coed team wasnt working out, I do not know the exact reason why but they no longer have a coed team. These boys are skilled and wanted to keep cheering so they came to Nor*Cal. We have never and will never purposly recruit someone who i salready at another gym.

Need any more facts? Ask your local Nor*Cal member, im sure they'd be happy to tell you the truth. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. Please don't take this wrong, but I'm disappointed that Fusion won't have a coed team. Clovis Elite Coed always was up there in the running and I was hoping the "fusion" of the gyms would make it even better. But looks like we won't get to see the true "fusion" of those gyms.

Good luck to Fusion and NCE. Its always hard your first year out as a "new" gym, even it it made up from old gyms.

Good question, I had heard that the old owners of Powerhouse are not at Fusion anymore. Is that true?

Wow, the three gyms MERGED.....that means all owners are there. Powerhouse owners are there and very active in FUSION. This is a great gym and there are some extremely talented young people at the gym.

I don't believe that "Nor Cal Owner" is NCE's owner, nor that "Nor Cal Owner" was implying they are. I think it's a generic term for an owner in northern california.

Sorry to have upset some of you. I was merely asking a simple question. I had heard that the owners of Powerhouse left Fusion to start a family. If that is not the case great if it is the case even greater for them. Not everything is a negative. People do not need to be so over dramatic and sensitive. It is just cheerleading.

This is a lie. Some of your teammates tried to recruit my daughter at a competition a few weeks ago, and she was clearly wearing her team's t-shirt. So unless "You should quit _________ and come to NCE" is not recruiting, you are lying.
