How do you clean the Nfinity cheer shoes? Has anyone tried washing them (even though I've heard you aren't supposed to)? What type of cleaning products do you use? Any ideas would be most appreciated, as I've done nothing, and they are real dirty!
I wash them on my washers hand wash cycle and let them air dry. They do not hold up very well but it is the only thing I have found to clean them. I have not been pleased with the quality of these shoes, especially for $70.00!
I use sneaker cleaner on my daughters (can be bought at most shoes stores) and toward the end of the season I wash them on the gentle cycle with liquid bleach and air dry them and they look really nice.
That would be great if they did not wear them outside the gym. However at our gym, the kids have to run laps around the building on black, dirty pavement. It is a good idea to have two pair (one for practice and one for competitions).
You don't get competition shoes in Oct/Nov??? We get a pair in May then another pair in Oct/Nov. Plus, the kids jog IN the gym, not outside. I guess that would ruin a pair of shoes that weren't made to be on concrete.
our gym gets us two pairs. one for comps.and one for practices. (but we still try not to wear the practice ones outside too much.)
but this really helps, cause then you have a pair you only ever wear on comp. days. so at every comp. it looks like it's the first time you've worn those shoes. it looks really clean and nice on everyone.
i would suggest that more gyms do this. cause i personally don't like when teams go out there and their shoes look THRASHED. it just takes away from the overall look.
