Why were the competition schedules for each gym removed from the public portion of the websites? It would seem that you would want all your fans to know when and where they were competing so they could be then in the stands cheering all the teams on.
It wasn't intentional. Sorry. Here's the address. Keep in mind that not all gyms will be at all competitions and not all teams from each gym will be at all competitions. This list is simply where cheergyms.com will be represented all year.
Thanks Danny for the link. But I would have to say it was extremely helpful last year when each of the individual gyms had a calendar of upcoming events that not only included which competitions they were going to compete but which teams. And then it also included participation in other local events such as parades and street fairs which gave many opportunities for those families considering signing up with cheergyms to meet the staff, coaches and families already involved. A GREAT selling point on increasing the invidual programs.
Just saw the post regarding no USA competitions. Is that correct? And if yes, is there a reason for moving away from USA (e.g., cheergyms moving to more competitive spirit organization such as NCA; changes in the USA management or competition structure, etc.)?
Each gym does have specific schedules that are posted on the Family site. Each gym is attending the same competitions so you'll always get a great chance to see Cheergyms.com in action at any of the competitions Danny posted. As for Parades and other events, those will normally be mentioned on the front page of each gym if and when they come up.
As for the USA competitions, it has nothing to do with being more competitive or changes in the infrastructure of USA. Rather, for this season, it is benefiting the kids of cheergyms.com, as well as the company itself, to attend the competitions on our list. In the future, cheergyms.com hopes that we can return to USA.
Thanks for clarifying things with USA Nelson. But I did check Focus' webpage for mention of a fair that was referenced in the below message from a Kelly to a JamesC and could not find mention of whether Focus would be performing or having further sign-ups at some local fair. If this is something that would be posted on the "Family Site" then one would need to already be a member of the gym to access this information. Seems like a missed opportunity for those who aren't ready to directly contact the program director but would like more info via attending a local function.

James, thanks for the post! I agree, I think this year can be awesome! The coed team has so much talent and I am very excited to have Chaz and Marin a part of the team. Get ready, there maybe a couple more additions to all the teams after the fair is over! Keep up the hard work James, I can't wait to see you stick that pass you worked on in Texas :)
Normally people who are that interested as to attend a local function that a gym is attending have already given the gym a call. If I was that interested in something, maybe I wanted to meet Barry Bonds at the Giants game and the Giants advertised "Fan Fest 2004", then I'd call them up and ask if Barry was going to be there. I don't expect the Giants to place everything in my lap, I think a date and location of an event is sufficient for just about everyone and if I wanted more detailed information, I would just pick up the phone and call.
