Come on everyone!!! Let's start this competition year off right. I'm happy that everyone likes to use this message board but I simply can't read the harsh rude comments any longer. And....I can't keep up with them fast enough to delete them all.
There is SO much to be positive about in our sport. Let's focus on those things and all the negative people will eventually just leave the boards.
You all can help me by emailing me when you see something really mean and negative. I can delete from my phone. danny@cheergyms.com
I'll get us started. Here are some really positive and exciting things I've heard so far about California cheerleading.
1 - Julie Van Os (Athletic Perfection Owner) just had a new baby 6 weeks ago. Congrats Julie! 2 - I heard last night that the CF Diamondz are ready for Worlds right now! Incredible! I can't wait to see them. Shawn & Becky have done incredible things over the past 2 years. 3 - Pyramids just celebrated their 10 year anniversary with a reunion of their All Stars from years past. 4 - University Cheer Force has moved to a new facility in Elk Grove! Have a great year UCF! 5 - People are saying great things about Southern California's newest program....The Mystic All Stars http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=mysticallstars
Our daughter Amber was part of the Focus Cheer Gym program for 3 years and had to leave since she made the her cheer team in high school BUT her team Monta Vista Highschool just won 1st place out of five teams at the USA comp at Great America and we are very proud of them!!! (you see this team has not seen many 1st places in many years) Her current coach is WONDERFULl and I think it took alot of courage for her to have the team train at Motions with Nelson once a week since it would be an extra cost for the girls and not to mention the drive (the parents were not happy at first-but she was willing to listen to OUR families AWESOME experience with Cheergyms and decided to give it a try after just a one time mention of it from our family. Not to say that maybe the girls could have not done it without Nelson and Motions but I am sure the extra training helped and we appreciate it!!! THANK YOU CHEERGYMS for the wonderful experiences they had with you and that they carry with them forever!! I think this is a perfect example of how all star cheer and high school cheer could help eachother and share in the EXCITING world of cheerleading!! I could never thank cheergyms enough for giving my kids a chance and believing in them-- because now they can use that confidence to be a shining light for others and continue to BELIEVE that with hard work and determination dreams can come true!! We will always remember you Morgan and Kelly---you have made a DIFFERENCE in our kids lives!! Cheers, The Myerholtz Family (Greg, Patricia, Miranda, Amber, and Joshua, and Oma)

Is this the Monte Vista High School in San Ramon/Danville? I'm thinking it's not because of the location of Motions. Where is the one you guys are referring to, just curious. Thanks!
