I know, that song was so inappropriate and yet so many routines used it. But what can you do, if you ask judges to deduct points for music they feel is inappropriate, then they have to decide where you draw the line, and what is considered appropriate (one judge's view on it may differ from another). In today's music, that's not an easy task.
I think it depends on what part of the song you use. There are plenty of parts of songs that on a whole are inappropriate that the parts used are just fine.
