I heard that COA is also having a bid competition that same weekend. Anybody going to that one ? Also are any of the norcal teams going to palm springs for the bid.
So cheerforce is waiting to see where the majority is going, or where the toughest competition is going? Big difference I think. You might have a lot fewer going to one over the other, but if the teams in that category are the ones that will be tough to beat at Worlds, would that be the one you choose? (quality vs. quantity)
Oh please... They are going to go where thier is the most competition. Please save us the drama. I'm sure that they will go to Cheersport because they allow crossovers and NCA does not
Wow you just had to be a hater and turn this thread into something negative didn't you. I guess if they wanted to go for the easy bid they could go to COA. So where is your team going to.
I don't understand these responses AT ALL. A post said that cheerforce was going where the majority of teams were going, and the post simply asked if they meant the majority or the toughest competition??? In other words, if a few of the top teams were going to one, but most everyone else decided to go to the other, which would you choose? The question was sincere and legit, and for anyone to read anything else into it is just plain paranoia. You guys should be ashamed, really.
A general question-- if you're a team that is hoping to get a World bid, why would you choose a competition that allows crossovers when Worlds does not? If you win a bid, you wouldn't be able to use that team anyway, right? I must be missing something here (someone set me straight).
I realized after that post that it would only be a problem if you had more than one team qualify for Worlds, right? If you only have one level 5 team that uses crossovers who you're hoping qualifies for Worlds, you should be fine. But if you have two or more level 5 teams that could potentially qualify, you would think you wouldn't use crossovers so you can take them all (so you wouldn't go to competitions that allow crossovers). Think I got it straight now.
Majority or Toughest Comp? wrote: So cheerforce is waiting to see where the majority is going, or where the toughest competition is going? Big difference I think. Heard It From A Friend said that cheerforce was waiting to see where the "majority" is going, and the post was referring to that. Do you go where the majority is going, or where a couple/few teams you'd like to compete against are going? It was a general statement. People really need to lighten up, geeeez.
As of right now we have 3 teams going for bids and none will have crossovers at worlds ...... wow that post turned a little negative and no one from our gym said a word...... shawn
