Does anyone know for sure if Spirit Sports is giving out a Worlds bid this year? I've called and e-mailed them and not heard back anything. This would lead me to believe the answer is "no".
Has anyone actually spoken to Shannon Smith or James Speed (Spirit Sports Owners) and had them confirm this?
I actually spoke to Kenny Feeley which is the West Coast Director for Spirit Sport. I caught him while he was at lunch with James and he did tell me that Spirit Sports is handing out bids in Palm Springs this year. When I spoke to him last week he did not have the specifics but I do feel that he would not have told me they were having a bid while sitting with James at lunch unless they really were. Hope that helps.
I wish they would put it out there already! If they are going to have restriction or whater, those of us going need to know! lol I know many teams won't go to USA anymore, they wouldn't allow anyone under 13 to get a worlds bid. (Not the only reason people won't go) And Vegas only gave them to large co-ed. So c'mon, I wanna know!!!
