That was done too early last year too, and the predictions were wrong. Why even go there when nobody knows just yet? Too many other interesting topics to cover.
Because the beginning of the year is the FUN time to do it. (Like pre season football polls). Then everyone can see hoe well they predicted at the end of the year. All sports do early predictions!!
i dont even know what teams people have yet but these are the top PROGRAMS that im looking forward to seeing....
1. Nor*Cal- to see if they still have the southbay style 2. Bullets- they always rock it 3. POWER- always amazing difficulty 4. So*Cal- to see if they still work it like champion did 5. Mavericks- looks like they are gonna be huge this year
Cheergyms.com has GOT to get a strong parent team together to compete against that awesome OC parent team. Come on parents. Lets get some rivalry going in the parent division. SIGN UP!
Unless you can find some parents with fulls we can't compete because OC mom's were throwin' the fulls right and left! They were off the hook! I know I would be in traction for life if I even tried to do a backbend!

I took my daughter to try out for powers mini team and they aren't having one in the Modesto gym which is where their mini team from last year was from. I was hoping they would have one because they were really good. Oh weill we are at another gym now.
You guys are nuts!!!!! lmao... we weren't throwing fulls! We had a mom who was also a coach who WASN'T going to be on the team till we saw that the Quakes had a coach on their team! So we threw her up there (notice she didn't match) just for fun! Shoot, we did forward rolls during practice and half of us were so dizzy we had to sit there for a few minutes!!! It was so hysterical.
You guys really should put together a parent team. I tell you, it was the BEST time we had all year! Our coach said it was like a Rock Concert. People screaming, standing room only, flashes and cameras and signs and more. All I could see were the people right in front cause the lights are so bright!!! But we promise, we won't have the "ringers" next season if there is really a parent team to go against. We did it for fun against Quakes cause the two "coaches" knew each other and wanted to do it too. It was all in fun.
So get together and make a team! We only practiced about 6 times before we performed. And tons of Motrin later, we did it!!!! It's so much fun! And it's even more fun embarrassing your kid! What's funny about that is, most of the kids who told their parents NO to the parent team were the most supportive. You have no idea what it's like having your kid yell at you from the side of the practice mat, "Mom! Keep your arms straight! I can't hear you! Mommmm! Cmon, do it right! Sharper!!!" Oh Lord, it was a good time.'

Power isnt having a mini team this year? That is suprisinig.
Does anyone know of any NEW gyms that are opening this upcoming season (other than the one's that are always mentioned already.) juest curious to see new teams and more people to compete against. = ]
We did a parent team this year and it was so much fun. I was really looking forward to doing it again, but now our gym closed. I suggest if it is offered at your gym, do it. We really got to know the coaches in a different light (and they got to know us and figured out how our children were like us). It was a very positive experience except for the fact that it reminded us how old we are, hee hee.
I am a new parent of cheergyms.com. As I was reading through the message boards and heard that there were parent teams I got excited. If cheergyms.com forms one for 06-07 count me in. I have 2 kids (6 & 4), but have TONS of cheer experience, especially as a flyer. Wow that would totally rock! Let me know
