We just watched NCA in Dallas on some channel (forget which). But we would have missed it if we didn't use our Comcast DVR (or if you have TIVO) to tape anything called Cheer Competition. We just look a week ahead and set it up. Maybe you can even do a series recording and it will always catch anything by that title, and the ones that have been on so far are called exactly that (Cheer Competition). It works for us, just thought I'd suggest it.
It would be great to watch the entire routines on the web! Or even on tv months later, if they were the entire routines. But the stations televising these are only showing bits and pieces, and maybe a few complete routines. The UCA competition recently televised only showed about 10 to 15 seconds worth of California All Stars (maybe even less). I think they should at least show the top three in each division.
How do we get information on seeing the WORLDS competition LIVE on the usasf website?!! It would be great for all of us back at home missing our fellow teammates and friends!!!!! Anyone have more specific information???? PLEASSSEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh no, so we can not see it on the USASF website live THIS weekend? I was really hoping that was true. Otherwise I guess we can try to find it later the following wseekend on ESPN2 or wherever.... anyone have any other knowlege of seeing on the Web LIVE?
my TiVo has the 29th listed as UCA College Nationals (parts 1 and 2) at 12 and 1 pm, UCA All Star Nationals at 2 pm, and NCA Dance at 3 pm. So sorry I don't thing any of those are Worlds.
yea sorry..i checked again and that's exactly what it said...so it's not worlds...if anyone has any luck finding it on tv...please post!! i have been looking every day
Of course we would all love to see it and know when it's on TV, but I took anothers suggestion and just made it so my TV would record anything with the word CHEERLEADING in it, this way there's no missing it. It's easier to delete something I don't want instead of scrambling to see if anyone taped it.
how do you record anything with cheerleading in the name??
If you have TiVo, you can do a "wishlist" or "keyword" search - just create "cheerleading" as a wishlist word/keyword and then whenever you search by it, it will pull it all up. I've recorded a ton of cheer in the past 3 weeks or so by using this.
And I believe the way you would do it for DVR (which you can get from Comcast) is to search Cheerleading, then select "record this program". What I'm not sure is if you can set it up as a series recording (like we do for other programs). Since the network varies, I'm thinking this might not work, but I'm going to try it tonight. Last resort, just search at the start of each week, and you'll be covered for that week. It's easy and quick to do.
We still have NCA saved, and now that the results from World are posted, it will be fun to go back and see some of those teams that were also at NCA. DVR is awesome.
If you have Tivo. Go to your wishlist. You can use cheerleading as your keyword. You can set it up so that it will record everything that comes up with that keyword. Most of the time, its a cheerleading competition, but it will pick up other things like Kim Possible, and of course right now Cheerleader Nation. Its also recorded some totally random cheer shows that I would have never known about, just happened to show up on my Now Playing List.
ihaver DVR and i have tried doing a series recording but it doesnt work so i will just sear cheerleading every week and see what comes up! thanks for you help!
