I just wanted to give you guys a big thanks and let you know how touched I was by your unconditional love on Sunday after the awards ceremony. As many of you saw I was disappointed with the performance on Sunday and was just out of words of encouragement for the team. I felt that I said what was needed to be said and it was such a great thing to hear the cheers from the parents and fans for their kids when they came walked back to you. Unconditional love is a strong thing (I know because my parents give me the same) and I am thankful that these kids have such great parents.
As I've told a few of the parents that night and as I've preached for quite some time; our season is not based upon a 2 1/2 minute performance, rather what has been accomplished throughout the year. Regardless of Sunday's performance and outcome nothing can take away what we have accomplished as a team this season.
