I thought that teams only have 72 hours to accept/decline bids.
If this was true then cheerforce shouldnt have gotten the bid passed from CA to them, and it would not get passed to southbay.
does this rule go by companies or does it go by usasf??
i think this should be the rule.. unless the team later goes to a competition and gets a paid bid like what happened with vegas because i think that all the bids given to worlds should be used, and not twice by the same team. (like a team having a paid bid and an at large bid)
For At Large bids, it's 10 days. And if someone gets a paid bid after originally getting an At Large bid:
A gym may receive no more than one bid to The Worlds, “Paid,” “Partial Paid,” or “At Large,” for any given division. Should a team already have been awarded a bid to The Worlds, decline acceptance of a “Paid”/“Partial Paid”/“At Large” bid, or fail to accept the “Paid”/“Partial Paid”/“At Large” bid by the deadline noted, the bid may be transferred to an alternate team at the sponsoring company’s discretion.
I'm surprised to see how much southbay is brought up in the cheergyms.com message board. You guys must really not want them to go to worlds... is this so?

does anyone know more about this?
DO you guys not want Southbay to attend Worlds? I'm just wondering. Not trying to start any rumors or anything.
I think I can say that we would LOVE Southbay to go to Worlds! The more California representation the better! The post that you quoted from Nor Cal all star I am pretty sure is not from Cheergyms program. Remember, just like you, anyone can post on our websites so please do not assume that all posts come from within our programs. You know what happens when people assume! Unless they specifically say they are from our programs, it is anyone's guess what program they come from. Also, by that post that was quoted, it doesn't sound to me like Nor Cal all star doesn't want Southbay to go to Worlds, I think they want to know the rules (which it seems everyone does!) on how the bids get passed down and used.

Thank you! I was just a bit shocked by that, but I wasn't assuming, just curious really.
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU So Cal All-Stars Family Man!!
THOSE KIDS HAVE WORKED SO HARD THE ENTIRE SEASON (i'm sure like every other team who's received a bid), AND THEIR GSSA PERFORMANCE GAVE ME CHILLS JUST WATCHING THEM. THE ENERGY THOSE KIDS HAD, BOTH ON AND OFF THE FLOOR WAS AMAZING! THEY SEEM LIKE A GREAT GROUP OF KIDS WHO ARE WILLING TO STOP AT NOTHING, AND IT SHOWS WHAT AN AWESOME COACH THEY HAVE. EVEN AFTER AWARDS, THOSE KIDS CAME OFF THE FLOOR KNOWING THEY GAVE IT THEIR EVERYTHING. DEFINATELY AN AWESOME PROGRAM THEY HAVE.. AMONG THE BEST IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA THAT'S FOR SURE!!
This year at CTC American Grand in Las Vegas as well all know, there was 1 Full Paid bid and 2 At-Large bids. I dont know any of the scores from CTC, so i don't know who the bids should get passed down to. However I do know that they had planned to go to Michigan to recieve an At-Large bid but could not get enough donations or raise the money in time to go. After hearing about CTC and that the bid is (or is supposedly going to be) passed down, they set aside the money they did raise for Michigan and said that if they do recieve the At-Large bid, they'll use that money to pay for their team to go.
As far as hearing whether or not they recieved the bid or not, I have heard from close friends at South Bay that rumors were flying around claiming to have recieved the bid, but she didn't want to get excited, and didn't want to believe it until she heard it from Roy (Head coach, South Bay Elite).
I am also yet to hear about whether or not they get the bid, if i hear anything I will keep the rest of you updated.
