It was SOOOO great to see everyone this weekend. I miss my Motions family SO much, and it was great to be surrounded by it again. And I've gotten NOTHING but COMPLIMENTS about Motions and cheergyms.com's programs from both JAMZ staff and Palomar people.
My favorite compliment was from Lance, a guy on my team that (really randomly) reminds me alot of Robert. He was spotting on the warm up mat I believe when Maroon was warming up. He came up to me and just said, "You know, Motions is REALLY good." And of course, I just said, "Yeah, I know." But he went on to say that when he was spotting, he didn't have to do anything. That he loved that the stunts just went up, and hit. And when they turned, they all just went "Boom" and turned. That everything was just PERFECT. That he wishes he could be on a team like that. (And just to let you know, Lance was on CA's Coed team for a little while.) I just thought I'd share that story with you all, it will probably make Nelson happy.
First.. Juniors. I'm amazed every time I see you.. And this weekend was the icing on the cake. I don't care what anyone says, you put on the best performance I've seen from ANY Motions Jr. team, EVER. Congrats to you and Nikki!
Senior Black, AWESOME job! You all amaze me. Kirstie.. Stop growing up right now. Way to go this weekend!
Senior Maroon, SEE YOU AT WORLDS. I'm trying REALLY hard to get the money to go, and it looks like I should be able to make it! But really, I couldn't be any happier for this team. You deserve this SO much. You've had such a rough year, and I'm so proud to see how you've pulled together to accomplish this. Way to keep pushing, and way to stick together through the thick and the thin. Its REALLY paid off now. Way to go guys!
Nicolee.... I'm so so SO proud of you sweetie. I know you were upset after your first performance, but I was so proud of how you picked up afterwards, put it behind you, and worked it out in your second performance without holding back at all. I love you sweetheart.
And last but not least.. My babies, Alex and Kyle. I love you two SOOOO much its ridiculous. I talked about you all weekend, and I got NOTHING but compliments about you from EVERYONE. I'm so impressed by (and a little jealous of) what you have accomplished in such a short time. You guys are just amazing people. And you're dorks just like me! Tony now finally understands why I'm so wierd. I LOVE YOU! See you this weekend!
Amac, just wanted to say thanks for the little pep talk we had after the first performance, it helped. It was great seeing you in Vegas, when you were talking to the team before we went on the floor I wished you were still on the team again! I love you so much!
