As far as the level 5 teams going for the bid, I only saw cheerforce, starz extreme and cheergyms.com all american.
I had never seen cheerforce before and they were quite amazing! They will be tough to beat.
Starz looked good, but if I remember correctly a girl stepped off the floor, not sure how GSSA is for deductions.
Okay I am admittedly from cheergyms, but the All American Team absolutely rocked the floor! Congrats All American for going out there and giving your best performance to date! To me they may not have had the difficulty level of cheerforce but they were out there selling every single moment and having a blast doing it. It showed on the floor!
I did not stay to see Pyramids and Motions. So can't say there. Out of those two I tend to like the Pyramids routine better. They are also amazing dancers and are very clean when they are on.
does anyone else notice that all but one of the team in the top six so far performed later in the day and team like the all american team and power sm srs who were expected to make the super six performed earlier in the day. their scores aren't significantly lower but do you think when they performed has to do with the scoring at all? i personally think judges tend to give out higher scores towards the end of the day but i don't know it was just something i noticed. i think they should have all 4 of those divisions perform consecutively but i guess they can't with all the double teaming going on. i can't wait to see who makes the super six tomorrow!
How does GSSA use the 2 day comp? Percentage of scores for the 2 days or what? I suppose the highest scores go to Super Six and then the winner from that gets the bid? If someone knows, please answer. Thanks
day 1 and 2 are worth 50% of the score, the top 6 scores go to teh super six, tehy all start out fresh with a score of zero, tehn whoever the top three highest scores are get bids, highest score getting teh paid bid, two other getting the unpaid, btu can someone explain to me how power beat cheer force by 20 points, cheer force was just amazing and no way power could beat them by that much, in my eyes i think the judges had it in their minds who they wanted to win and that happened to be power.
I totally agree with the previous post. Cheer Force was AWESOME!!! even people who hate watching cheerleading would have enjoyed it!! Cheer Force should have had the paid bid for sure. On another note how in the world could All American neat the other Cheer Force team. Definite favoritism issues I think.
i have definetly never seen South Bay perfome as amazing as they did. They really stepped it up fom the last time i saw them! AWESOME performance and i hope you all go to JAMZ and get a bid.
there is no favoritism. I mean its a national competition, companies let alone gssa are not dumb enough to having judges who dont know what they are doing. these judges are qualified people who know what they are doing so leave it at that.

Actually, when the Judges introduced themselves (and gave their backgrounds) in the Coaches Meeting Saturday morning, I was REALLY concerned. I thought to myself "uh oh, here we go again".
Hey I have a great idea since your so free with all your negative comments why don't you sign you name instead of always being anonymous. Or better yet go away an find another message board to vent on. All this negativity is getting really old.
