Well, Ashley is now wearing a bright pink cast on her right hand/forearm. The specialist agreed with her pediatrician and the radiologist that her scaphoid bone is fractured. So, Ashley will be wearing her beautiful new cast for at least 4 to 6 weeks.... then they will take more x-rays and re-evaluate her condition. Supposedly, she can be in a cast for up to 12 weeks. Here's the good news- the specialist said she can still do cheer- just no tumbling or stunting! lol
