I am distraught I want to know what the deal is with the rules for Worlds I just heard that Cheer Athletics got their paid bid taken away. Why is that? What are the rules for age limits and the and or ifs regarding age and grades. We cheer for a good program but we are still small. One coach says one thing the other says another and our gym owners don't even come to the gym they are to busy getting manicures or something. I heard about the cheergyms.com message board and wanted some insight since I think your owner is somehow involved with the Committees. I doubt we will even get a bid this is only our 1st year going for it that we might even have a chance to get an At-Large bid. But in chance we do. What are the rules?
from what i know, cheer athletics had a girl who was 20 on they're team. They won the paid bid but if that girl preformed with them at worlds and they got caught they would be suspened from the cheerleading worlds for 3 years.
so they turned theirselves in and handed over the paid bid.
cause we all know there is no worlds without cheer athletics
Cheer Athletics declined a paid bid a while ago, because they had an ineligible boy on the team. According to Cheer Athletics, he lied about his age. When it came out how old he really was, Cheer Athletics gave back the bid. The company that awarded the bid to them was prepared to allow them to keep it. So unless, there is another bid that you are referring to, that is what happened. You can get more info on their website. www.cheerathletics.com. There was also a long thread about this on the Pro X message board at www.whatisprox.com awhile back. The last I heard, they now have a team entered into all 4 divisions. Also, if you need info on the rules, go to www.usasf.net. All the rules for eligibility, ages, levels etc are there.
I know what I am asking is what are the rules? You can't be older then _________ ad you have to be in _____ grade OR IS THERE EVEN A RULE..aGH I am so confused
Hope this answers your questions wrote: Cheer Athletics declined a paid bid a while ago, because they had an ineligible boy on the team. According to Cheer Athletics, he lied about his age. Maybe I just assumed it was a boy, because that sounds like such a boy thing :)

Worlds is gonna be huge this year. Last year there were 19 teams, including the international teams. I wonder what the final count is gonna be this year.
