Mine would have to be any comp at a high school. Because they are so over crowded and the seating is HORRIBLE. I also hate comps with level seating for the same reason...

I think my least favorite place would be the San Jose Civic Center where GSSA holds there competitions. Seating is very limited, parking is horrible to get to, and the space for the dance teams is very bad. They were dancing on top of the crowd and judges. I like the San Jose Convention Center across the street better.
I also do not like where Jamfest held there competition in San Jose. It was in a Blue Tent right next to the San Jost Convention Center. That was bad, not many food booths and just the seating was not that great.
I usually like the San Jose Civic Auditorium but for GSSA it was awful - way too crowded. I don't like where GSSA was held last year either, at San Jose State. The parking is a nightmare to get in and out of. Cow Palace is not great either, the seating arrangement is odd.
My favorites are the San Jose Convention Center and University of the Pacific. I heard good things about the Save Mart Center in Fresno (where Power was this last weekend) but haven't been there.
Save Mart center in Fresno last weekend is off the hook. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and the place is huge for seating!!! It's a beautiful place, it is a new building and all...... hopefully more organizations along with Power Cheer will try it out soon!
I wish the competition companys would keep high school and dance seperate or at least let them compete at the end of the day instead of allstars.. I dont hate them I just dont want to see them.

Some do, but they still end up mixed in with the cheer divisions 90% of the time...so like they'll switch back and forth between cheer and dance. Jamz was mind-numbing for me - almost all of the dance was held at the end of the day, in between the cheer divisions and the final (and only) award session. Don't get me wrong - I like dance, but I'm into cheer, not dance. I don't want to see them, and I'm sure they don't want to see us either.
Worst comp venue ever would have to be Marine World. The stage is on a slant, so everyone's tumbling sucks that day, not to mention it feels like it is going to break every time you jump or tumble on it. Also, I hate how you perform literally three feet away from the crowd. Just really bad all around.
Oh, I completely agree. Marine World is the absolute worse! We've been there two times over the years and both times they were completely unorganized (one year the person with the key to open the gate didn't get the memo that we were all going to be there before it officially opened...d'oh)! Another year we waited in line for at least two hours to get in because their credit card machine broke down and they had to write the numbers by hand. I'm soooooo glad we don't go there anymore. Oh yea, the weather, it was either all of us baking in the sun, or all of us freezing our buns off.
OC will be there. There are A LOT of who's who at this one this year. It will be so much fun. We are so excited to see all of you!!!! Let's have fun!!!!
