Can we mention any Jr. Prep, Youth or Mini teams? Or just Juniors (8th and under where most are in 6th and above.)

We have a Youth team in our gym that's INCREDIBLE this season. They are all 1st and 2nd graders. They really clicked this season and can't do any wrong!!! I don't know what those parents are feeding them youngsters! They are most likely (for their level which is 3) one of the best teams in our gym of 17 teams!!!

We just saw the team to beat at Nationals ... Stars Extreme's Junior Level 5 (large)! If you saw them today at Athletic Championship, you know what I'm talkin about. If you haven't seen them yet, you'll be amazed!!!

Is Stars going to Spirit Sports in San Diego? Who else is going?

I don't know if the Junior Level 5 team from Stars Extreme is going to San Diego, but I know they'll be at Jamz Nationals. I believe they are the defending champs. (we're not part of their organization, we're just part of the crowd that was blown away by their performance both Saturday and Sunday). Anyone else see it??

For me it would be between Starz Extreme and American. While SBE's junior coed is good, they are sloppy (saw them again this weekend at Power and expected them to be clean by now, but they're just not) and the transitions in the routine are a big mess. Starz and American have both perfected clean routines - and not just clean as in no mistakes, clean as in their motions are sharp and tight and together, tumbling has nice clean form, and there are no sloppy, running-all-over-the-floor transitions. Wherever they are on the floor, they are within two steps of their next formation. I hope all these teams come to GSSA so we can compare them side-by-side!

Champion Outlaws large jr already beat Starz at a usa regional last december. Don't know if that's the same Stars Extreme in quote above? I'd like to see California allstars, American, & Champion at the same comp!

California and American competed at the American Grand and it was not even close. American got third out of third. CA was hands down better at every aspect of their game. American Senior team is off the hook ,but if looks like they put all of their good girls on Senior

First of all American didn't stack there senior team. Both there senior and junior teams had not competed before the American Grand, unlike most of the other programs. 2nd the juniors would of looked 10 times better if they would of hit their routine. Scores, not deductions change dramatically if you routine looks good versus having many mistakes. California all stars is very very good, but not by a HUGE amount. Stars extreme is very good, but both of their level 5 teams could be alot cleaner.

Did you see them?

Cheerleading fan ... I just have to as you one question: did you see Stars Extreme's Level 5 Junior team perform this past Saturday and Sunday? They could not have been any cleaner, they were perfect. Their Sr. Co-ed could have been cleaner, but not the juniors. Just want to clarify your comment.

I agree with SBE Jr coed being very sloppy this weekdend but i still think there the best junior team besides Stars extreme its even for me.

I think "very" sloppy is going a little too far, i saw so many teams at that competition that were waaaay sloppier and with many more mistakes. They had a good performance but you're right in that it certainly wasn't perfect nor was it their BEST performance of the season, yet despite that they still got the highest score of all the junior teams and they've still got several more competitions left to their season and i don't doubt that they will continue to improve and impress.

I have yet to see stars extreme this season but they always have a strong junior team as well as California and American.

What other comps are stars extreme and american going to? Does anyone know?

I saw Champion Jrs and they don't look anything like we're used to seeing. The routine was good but they couldn't hit or perform it. I felt bad for them. It looks like they don't have the strenght that they've had in the past. It just wasn't their Jrs, but the the program as a whole. I saw them at Cheer Jam. Based on what everyone is saying about Stars Extreme, I don't know how they lost to Outlaws.

Also, look at their score at US Spirit Leaders, (Winter Classic), something is not the same with them.

Yeah, wondering too

Yea, I'm wondering how Starz Extreme Jr. lost too, unless they had penalties/deductions for things other than falls. It's hard to imagine anyone beating them the way they were this weekend, to be honest. But I'm not saying there aren't other good teams out there too, don't get me wrong. I'm sure Jamz Nationals in Vegas will really be something to watch, I can't wait!

Well I will clarify it again, I thought they could have both been cleaner. They were VERY talented and loved watching them, but if they want to be outlaws and California All Stars, there going to have to clean up. Just because someone says a team is messy, doesn't mean their routine isn't strong or their team isn't good.
