You both learned great dances today. We now only have one practice left to not only make sure the dance looks clean (and for Sr Black to break out the personalities) but to also make sure the rest of the routine hits as well.
Senior Black - Remember our music and style is completely different then anything cheerleaders are accustomed to, especially the dance. Keep that in mind as we perform on Saturday...Regina, we're coming after you!
Senior Maroon - There's so much to this routine right now, and you're jam packing it all in. Let's make Saturday not look like a jumbled rushed mess, rather something that we are used to seeing. Then, after Saturday we can really focus on upgrading the skills and getting set to head down to Georgia.
Let's not forget Junior White - I've never said it to you guys before, but I will make a point of doing so either on Tuesday or on Saturday at your competition. I want to see you guys slow down and focus, not rush and react. Reacting causes sloppiness and makes you look lost. Control and Focus, then you will begin to do your skills as you were taught.
One more week of practice for all five of our teams and then we're off to the competition floor! Senior Black, Junior White, Wilcox, Senior Maroon and Mission San Jose...What an exciting week!! I might as well give up on trying to sleep at all this week...
Sounds like all the teams are doing GREAT! AB is this weekend, and I know that most of the "OLD" originals are gone, and you might not understand this.. But AB belongs to to US.. It belongs to YOU. Its a fun competition.. And MOTIONS has had a history of doing VERY well there. Keep that going guys. Walk in there like you OWN the place.. But don't forget how hard you had to work to get there! You still have to prove how good YOU are. Work it out, and do GREAT things this weekend! I can't wait to hear all about it.
