Hello All!!! Hope everyone is happy and healthy as the start of competition season arrives!
Just wanted to start a thread about gym showcases; how they went, teams, etc.
I know Victory, OC, and California San Marcos had their showcases yesterday... Did anyone attend that has feedback? Haven't heard too much about all 3 except that Victory did pieces of routines and that Cali's teams, across the board, did well.
Also, upcoming showcases:
California Camarillo, Sunday Nov. 13th. ??? Anyone know of anymore ????
We just had our showcase on Saturday and all PCM teams are on track for a successful competition season! Had some really GREAT performances for the first weekend of Nevember! 24 teams.... one crazy day filled with jam-packed difficult, eye-popping routines. So now it's back to the gym for tweaking, adding, subtracting, and cleaning! So proud to be apart of PCM!!! SayMyName.

Speaking of Showcases, I would like to bring up an incident that happened at a Gyms Showcase. A video was taken at this Gyms showcase of one of there teams and put on Facebook. Some former members of this gym who now attend other gyms this season decided to BASH this gyms routine! Let me also add that most of the bashing that was done was not by the kids, it was there MOTHERS!!!! Really how PATHETIC can you be as grown woman! Just because a team has a bad performance gives NO right for anyone involved in other programs to bash this teams routine on facebook or any public forum. Please remember that you are ultimately bashing the athletes who work VERY hard! One of the comments under the video by a mom who is obviously the ring leader stated "You are welcome I made everyones night". Get a life and try to focus your attention on being a role model for your cheerleader! So to all the Athletes out there, GREAT JOB and keep up the hard work don't let some PATHETIC miserable heartless comments discourage you!!!!

Wow how horrible and sad for those Athletes you are right everyone has a bad routine and it is about the Athletes! My question would be if you left that gym and are happy at the new gym you are at, why spend so much time worrying about the other gym and trying to destroy them! My opinion you are either threatened or regretting you left!
Plus people are supposed to mess up at showcase. It's the first performance of the year and the girls need to get all their jitters out! Better to fall now then later. and Believe me! people get what's coming from them, just gotta let karma do work!!!!!
Showcases are exactly what they are called: Showcase! Show us what you're bringing to the season :) There are ALWAYS ALOT of modifications after the 1st performance, or "showcase"... We have a long season here folks, this is just the beginning, get out there work hard and bring it ALL to the mat! Good Luck to all as we begin the competition season!
Saw few of PCM vids online, looks like they will have a good year! Anyone know if Cheerforce is having a showcase? And How was Fierces Showcase was? Cant wait to see both these teams!
