Im not trying to stir up trouble so I will not say what gym I am from but why do gym owners tell you one thing in may and then by september its something different? And does anyone else feel that if you bring up a concern they just dismiss you?
I really have been disappointed lately in the moved that we made to a new gym because we paid all the dues on time only to find out that the practice cloths that they had on their try out sheet was not the amount of cloths that were given to us just recently. The commuication is horrible and if you ask the owner she is so dismissive towards you. I could understand if you were asking why your child is front and center to be dismissed but you are asking about a product you are paying for and not recieving. So being treated like this makes thing difficult to bring other concerns to her attention.
We were also told that each child has to earn their spot in the routine but then the kids will get in the car and tell us so and so got put in the back because they never come to practice and now so and so cried so now they got their spot back...this is getting so old I think this will be our last season in cheer because it doesnt matter whos running the gym its always a whole lot of empty promises!!
I'm really not trying to i just wish gym owners would read this post and if they are doing something like this please change your ways...my daughter loves cheer and we live in a small area where really there isnt very many gyms to choose from and i am not one to gym hope and i wont leave during the year...but when will some of these owners realize that not all parents are drama we just would like to be kept in the loop as far as changes to the competition schedule especially if we are having to book a hotel room..just things like that I dont feel that I am asking for much
GYM OWNERS BE PROUD, EVERYONE IS NOT GOING TO AGREE WITH YOU. BUT REMEMBER YOU ALL SACRIFICE THE TIME, MONEY AND STRESS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN FOR THESE ATHLETES WHO LOVE THE SPORT! GO GYM OWNERS!! YOU ALL ROCK!
