I don't think it means they are having 4 level 5 teams. They listed all level 5 divisions. Not too many gyms will know with certainty what levels they will have until tryouts.

I love the fact that gyms end up having tryouts and clinics around the same days. It forces people to make a decision instead of gym hopping lol Anyway, Fierce's clinics at our Rancho and Long Beach locations have already begun! Fierce San Diego clinics start tomorrow! All 3 will have tryouts the weekend of May 7th, And Our High Desert clinics and tryouts are May 10th-12th! Soooo excited for the new season to start :))

At our gym, we have to sign contracts, pay fees, etc. on a day before the team tryouts/placements are made...I am assuming this is to curb any jumping ship because you don't like where you or your little Susie are placed...wink

torycf brings up a good discussion topic. how do parents and coaches feel about trying out at several gyms? I guess as a parent if I'm paying all that money I want to make sure she's on the right level. I think it should be fine to tryout at different places, but I guess not everyone feels like i do.

I wouldn't try out a new gym if i had to pay all of that up front. I have used the try out process to sort of feel the gym out and see if it's a place we want to be. Reality is try outs are just that, try outs. It is not the commitment faze of the process.
