The USASF Parent Action Committee has published an Insiders Guide that I think is very helpful (of course I'm biased).

In any case, it's free and I would highly recommend it.

Advice/comments also welcome to improve for next year.

Yes very good for first timers (and pros). Everything is such a blur when the team gets the bid. It can be very helpful to navigate through this exciting event.
