i'd actually have to agree with nor cal cheer gal...on a few things...I think that there are several distinct styles in california, even just within nor cal that it would be difficult to clump them all together into "california style". Each program has its own style and while some are very similar, i think there is a big difference between nor cal and so cal. Take west coast mavericks or champion outlaws or california all stars or stars extreme or fierce, compare their style to cheergyms or power...not that one style is better than another....but, to me, there seems like a big difference in style and i wouldn't feel right clumping them together as "california style choreography"
just my 2 cents..

If you compare the so cal teams to the east and mid west teams, then nor cal tothe east and mid-west....you will find that theree are a lot of similarities of the nor cal and so cal teams. Obviously, if you dont know much about choreography you wont see it, but if you do, you know what i am talking about. Of course you cant compare nor cal to so cal...thats like comparing cheer Athletics and Spirit of Texas....both from texas...but do they have the same choreography....not really, but just like nor cal and so cal, there are similarities.....
