yellow cards?

i heard at a competition that a team received a yellow card. (i do not want to reveal the team, so if you know who it is, don't say who) i didn't even know that was possible. is it just a disqualification or is it something else? does anyone know what it is, how a team gets one etc.

I think they were just using the term Yellow Card as a way of explaining if they had a legality deduction or a disqualified team. I have never heard of this yellow card you speak of =)

could it have been a warning like in soccer? If it is the team I am thinking of it could have been unsprtsmanlike conduct on the part of the coach. I heard there were issues. If any of what I heard is true then they should have received a warning or reprimand (sp?).

i thought you meant like yellow card on the floor, like their was a performance error that made something illegal that they threw.

That would be hilarious if they just threw a yellow card out on the floor if something was illegal. Hahahahahaha.... referees and all.
