Wow! wait a minute while I pick my jaw up off of the floor! Top Gun really knows how to put together an exciting routine. Now I am going to lodge the only complaint I have with Top Gun I wish more then just one girl tumbles.
Not sure how the beginning of the pyramid is legal?
"im not sure of the USASF wording but I asked about a stunt variation of this. Pretty much a flip is where your hips pass over your head. If you are inverted then your hips are starting over your head. By her hands touching the ground she never went through a flip.
Flip An aerial skill that involves hip-over-head rotation without contact with the performing surface as the body passes through the inverted position.
So by touching the ground it made it legal. I think this skill falls into that grey area where the rules really arent specific enough to say its illegal."
I totally see what you are saying about the hands down, but then they flip and they dont look connected....can you see the hand connection anywhere or leg? =)

The way it was explained to me is that because she is inverted with her hands on the ground before its not actually considered a flip?? More like a release move But idk, it looks illegal to me lol
Amazing as usual, they always have a BIG WOW factor as well as a great mix with awesome sound effects and voice-overs, and I absolutely love their dance section. I have to say (and this is just my opinion) as much as I love CALI I don't like the way their routine ends in a pyramid, I think the dance section at the end of a routine makes a big difference, it adds that finishing touch and CALI always has great choreography I guess I'm just use to them blowing me away at the end of their routine. Both TOP GUN and CALI are amazing teams and it's going to be a great show so I hope I get to go to WORLD's in "2010".
