I wanted to take a moment to say a few things that I forgot to mention at the banquet (due to the extreme emotional condition). There were 4 people that did not get recognized with the Large Senior team, but were key factors throughout the year to the success of this team. Those 4 people are:
1. Michelle (Flim Flamm) - You stepped into a position at the very last minute & learned a routine that required you to throw your most advance passes. You did it with ease ..... so THANK YOU, for being a part of the Large Senior team when it was needed most!!
2. Elisa - You too stepped into a position, not only once, but TWICE. Again, being last minute as usual ... you did an incredible job learning the new parts & mostly helping a flyer to become more confident in the air in such a short amount of time. What you did for that flyer for the rest of the season was incredible ... and it showed!! THANK YOU!! I love you so much & I wish you the best of luck in college! xoxo.
3. Ali Klu - We talked a lot about you crossing over, and it finally was able to happen. With your prescence on the floor & at practices, the team started becoming just that: a team. I enjoyed coaching you SOOOOOO much on Large Seniors. I don't think I've ever seen you SMILE more in a 2 hour period of time. Thank you for just being YOU, and helping Large Seniors have a completely FANTASTIC ending to a "rough" season. I love you soooooo much & will miss you LOTS & LOTS!! Good luck in So.Cal ......... represent for us NorCal folk!! xoxo.
4. Cookie - I've gotta say ... we've grown a lot together over the past year or so. What you did at these practices & for the other 19 girls on the team ... SIMPLY AMAZED me. You are an amazing young woman, and I can't thank you enough for taking the extra time (which I know you have VERY little of) to help the Large Seniors out!! I wish you the best of luck in So. Cal .... KNOCK 'EM DEAD!! And remember to keep in touch. I love you sooooooooo much!! xoxo.
