Northern California All-Star Alliance Meeting MAY 9TH

Howdy Everyone

Our Next NCAA meeting will be May 9th from 9 AM - 12 PM at Gymstars in Stockton.

This is a MANDATORY meeting where at least one member from your gym needs to be in attendance
.

WE are now close to 40 gyms and growing!

Topics being discussed

  • Final Competition Schedule for 2009/2010
  • NCAA Scholarship 2009/2010
  • Western Regional Meeting in Sacramento (July 2009)
  • New Cheer Rules and Age Guidelines
  • The direction of the NCAA for 2009 and beyond
  • Contract Signings for the NCAA for the upcoming year

Please make sure that someone from your gym is at the meeting.  Most importantly make sure they are ready to turn in your FINALIZED Schedule for the 2009/2010 competitions.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting.

Cheers

JOHN HEBERT
POWER / Northern California All-Star Alliance

John, I know it will be a busy meeting, but if you have a minute, I would be very interested in this group's feedback on making scoresheets public. Maybe you could do just a quick survey?

1. Keep things as they are
2. Make everyone's scoresheet available to all coaches in the division, but only totals for everyone else.
3. Make the scoresheet (minus comments) available to everyone.

If you can't that's fine.

Thanks.

I am strongly for making scoresheets minus comments available to everyone.  It is about accountability, and if judges know their detailed scoring will be made public it will give us parents (paying customers) a reason to favor some competitions over others.   It will help expose poor judging and reward it when it is fair.   JMO    I think a survey is a great idea Ace Dad.
