On this list it shows divisions are divided into small and large......I can't remember if they combine divisions at this comp. if there is is no competition within a division.....does anyone know the answer to that???

I hope so too biggrin They are really good. I can see them taking that division unless CA can pull it together and do domething with that routine, Im defiantly not feeling that team hmm

Wow, East Elite is coming to this event...that is quite a trip...although I have seen Celebrity (New Hampshire) in Vegas- their entire club too at a WSF comp in '06.

Palm Springs is going to be packed too that weekend because of a bike racing event. If you don't have a room(s) yet, good luck or cough up big money for one that is close to the convention center. Meanwhile there is 150,000 rooms in my neck of the woods.smile

I agree, i'm expecting cheergyms to be a lot stronger at this comp and i am really not feeling ca's small senior limited coedyawn. this division is going to be intense, ill have to wait till spirit spec to see cheergyms coed thoughbiggrin

seen both, i think cheergyms is a lock.  ca's small small coed just seems like a step child level 5 team.  seems like most of their focus is on their large coed and small senior.  cheergyms small small coed is the best of their gyms.

my predictions

small jr 5 - ca
jr coed 5 - ca
small sr 5 - power
large sr 5 - american
small small coed - cheergyms
large coed - ca

i think its going to be awesome to see california allstars go against east elite at this comp because they are main competition in dallas for sm jr 5 sm sr 5 and lrg sr 4!
and i know im biased but i know every single one of calis teams have made huge strides since vegas especially sm jr 5 and sm sr 5, just wait till you see these routines if they hit them you will be blown away!!

The bike ride - Tour de Palm Springs - is on Valentine's Day, the weekend after Spirit Sports. I can't imagine dodging almost 8,000 bike riders on the streets of Palm Springs!!

jr coed 5 - ca
small sr 5 - power
large sr 5 - american
small small coed - cheergyms
large coed - ca

I agree 100% they do look like the step child level 5 team. Which is really unfortunate no I think they should have dropped a level and been an amazing lower level team rather that using crossovers from other level 5 teams to lean on because clearly less that half on the team has level 5 skills and the ones that have good level 5 skills ie. the boys are clearly on unlimited coed. It funny because i used to say you cant use the world CA and bad in the same sentence lol but i guess there a first for everything.hmm I hope they can pull it together.

small jr 5 - ca or east elite. I havent seen east elite so idk but they usually are good so ill give them the benefit of the doubt. But ca really stepped it up so im leaning more toward ca.
jr coed 5 - ca. I dont really think we need a reason for this one lol
small sr 5 - AZ power. I just love that team lol
large sr 5 - desert storm. They are amazing. Love their stunts, their pyrimid is crazy. I wish they had better tumbing though. But over all they are really good.
small small coed - cheergyms. I dont really have a reason except that they are better than all the other teams lol But i havent seen west coast mavericks but judging how they looked last year cheergyms will win.
large coed - ca. DUHH lol Is galaxy the purple and green team from like washington (i think)? They had a crazy good coed 4 team last year and a pretty good large senior 5.

Isnt american large limited coed 5? Thats what they are competing at cheerpros the week before this competition. Are they changing for this one or did they register before they went coed?

Woah that was long lol

Yay no bikers!!!! The last two years it was such a pain in the but to dodge all the bikes around Palm Springs! I'm sure they love have their city taken over by cheerleaders though =)
