This is just a warning out there to NOT DO BUSINESS with Cherrydale Fundraising.
We Placed an Order with them September 2
Order was not placed with the main office until September 18
They shipped only a partial order on October 29
I called the Main Office to find out where the remaining orders were...They never inputted them in the computer
November 3 the remainder of the order shipped GROUND...
November 11, the order arrived; they were shipped Fed-ex in non refrigerated truck. They had boxed up the order and put in 8 small Ice packs in the box. When the merchandise arrived all of the frozen items were room temperature.
We refused the shipment.
They now are informing us to give back the monies to the people who ordered the items and that they are not going to fill our order.
There were over 10 emails and phone calls prior to the shipment arriving that were never returned
BOTOM LINE...Don't do business with them, just my advice
John, What a horrible experience! Thanks for warning everyone.
It's been my experience in the past that these fundraisers that deal with frozen cookie dough and other such items are a major pain in the keester. Once you receive the order, how do you keep everything cold until you can have it picked up or delivered? sometimes days can go by before you can get those 14 boxes to Grandma's house...
Whenever I get involved in fundraising that involves product sales I always stick to wrapping paper, candles and such.
I think this is a great topic to start. We have had a pretty bad experience with one certain group as well. I think it would be great if we had a data base to work off of for groups to work with and groups to stay away from!
cookie dough ones are kind of difficult. We were stuck with a lot left over with flavors people did not care for. But at least we did receive are order. We are doing a babysitting fundraiser at the gym and opening it up to anyone for the shopping season. I'll let you all know how it goes. We are going to do it the day after Thanksgiving and the weekend before christmas.
We just did a fundraiser with Sherwood Forest Farms....they have fresh wreaths, garland, holly, centerpieces and a few other Christmas decorations. Our orders are supposed to arrive the week after Thanksgiving....so far everything has gone well...I'll give you guys an update after we get our shipment!
We do Gold Canyon Canlde Company... it's an awesome funraiser to do around the holidays. Candles are such a good present, everyone buys! Speedy delivery too.

barn candles is a great company to do fundraising with. The profit is 50% with the potential to profit 60%. Free shipping, fast turn around and the candles are AWESOME!
Wow! That is a nice profit! Thanks for the info! What are some other fundraisers that gyms have had good experiences with?
Our best fundraisrer is a raffle. First prize is usally $1000.00 and the second place prize is a free month tuition at the gym. We actually raised 3/4 of our World's money in a week last year from the raffle. Our second one is a cookie dough fundraiser that seems to do very well. We have others but those are the most successful ones.
AtoZ Fundraising has been fantastic for us. When we were with our Youth team and now with our All Star team. Quick and prompt delivery. As with cookie dough AtoZ can give you an exact date and almost an exact time of delivery and you tell your parents this is the day you must pick up. If they don't,they forfeit the merchandise, and are not allowed to order frozen food again. We did this on the Youth level and it worked great. He has everything from candy, frozen food items, jewlery, wax bears that have a scent, etc., ect. Check into it. I believe he is based out of Livermore and delivers all over California.
