I must say that San Jose sounds like the place to be. But I'm sure all of the other gyms are still looking forward to their first comps as well. They still get to put their routines on the floor for the first time, surround themselves by their own music and be cheered on by their gym's teams, friends and family. As for the smallest of the small comps, I'm hoping to see those teams cheer each other on (wink wink CA and Titan Elite).

i think in the past CA has always made their first comp a small one. they like to get the experience of competing without the added pressure of having to be perfect. instead they can just have fun preforming :)

Well that is interesting, seeing as fierce and cf are running up to northern california for competition. But other than those programs down here in So Calif, there are many programs that can fill those competitions. I am sure CA will have all kinds of teams to compete with.

I think its a great idea that cheerforce and fierce are "running" up north to amercan masterpiece. I have said a couple of other times on here that i think its a good idea to go to a american championship competition and see how the judging is and see how your routine scores befor you go to a different american championship competition for a bid. I remember being at grand last year and hearing alot of teams talk about how they got deducted for things that they didnt get deducted for by other companys. So it is obvious that AC has a different way of scoring/judging, i think "running" up north is a great idea and it will help them in the long run.

if i had the money to go to another event i would. financially Jamz is cheaper and they would provide more for my buck.

Yeah, there are great teams and a lot of them in both so and no cali. I think it is some of the teams first time on the floor this year, so its more of a dress rehearsal for many of the teams. But good luck no matter where you go!!!
