I was just on the varsity website and saw a clip from ABC. UCA and UDA staff were dancing and stunting on set without any types of mats, they were performing inversions, fliping and twisting baskets and partner stunts.
We are so drilled with safety from the USASF and these companies yet they do stunts that are illegal at games at the high school level as well as college.
Especially now with this new lawsuit and people questioning the safety of our sport this is not the correct image to put on your site, you will find kids trying skills they are not ready for. I wish that they would remove this.
Ok, what about that new revised show 90210, within the first 4 minutes something so foul was shown that I would never let me kids watch it. I know I am on my soapbox but my daughter wanted to watch it so I had her tivo it so I could watch an episode first and my 12 year old will not be enjoying that show, at least when it used to be on they were not so open about things, grrrr.

HEY HEY HEY......please do not critisize the UCA Staff. Don't you know that they invented cheerleading?!?! They are the smartest, the most talented, and the most knowledgable over all. And if you don't believe me....just ask them.
I was not saying that UCA is not talented, they are the best at what they do and because everyone looks up to them they need to be aware of how they portray themselves when it comes to safety.
