It's rockin' and rollin' in So Cal. They now say it was 5.8. There are no reports of injuries or damage. As always, you wonder how bad it will get while it's shaking, which is what I find scary, but when it stops, you can breathe again. WHEW!!
The telephone companies have activated limits on outgoing calls to preserve telephone lines for Emergency personnel. Incoming calls indicate the phone lines are working.The outgoing calls will experience delays until the telephone companies remove the restrictions
Thanks for the info. My phones are working now. There is also reports of damage coming in: broken water main in one city and damage to a runway at Ontario.
i was in summer school while it happened and our whole class shook and i live in orange county. they said that it was a 5.4 in the chino area. but no one was injured or killed and no buildings had any serious damage. but i heard that a bigger earthquake is on the way. (don't know how true that actually is though)
