From my understanding yes it is. Our gym is going if we qualify (keeping fingers crossed).

I do not believe they are the same event. This is the ISASF All Levels their are two locations West/East, then they will be judged via video to determine the champion.

final destitination is a cheer power event. All levels are allowed not just levels1-4. All levels is only for levels1-4 +youth 5. All level championships is supposed to be hosted at the los angeles convention center. I would assume it would be run a lot like cheersport nationals as there are no stadium seats there.

I thought Final Destination was a "worlds" that competitions that were part of the NLCC participated in, which out here in the west included Cheer Power, but no others I'm aware of. But now Cheer Power has joined USASF, so I assume they will be included in giving out bids to USASF's version of Worlds, which is the All Level Championships. They also have something they call World Series? So you have two separate "worlds for all levels" -- Final Destination (NLCC) and this All Level Championships (USASF). If you look at the competition companies that are part of NLCC (less than ten the last time I looked) vs. those that are part of USASF (many), you'll see a major difference. USASF's will be huge. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The International All Levels Championship is not a USASF event.

They also say that they have teamed up with other competition companies, yet I don't see them listed. I was also under the impression USASF was going to have something equivalent to what NLCC has with Final Destination, but it appears it's a Cheersport thing where you have to compete at a Cheersport competition to qualify. Does anyone know if this is the case and what other competitions you can qualify at??

The International all levels 1-4 is going by USASF gudelines, but was made by Varsity Companies, JAMZ, and Cheerpsort. I wouldnt be surprised if JamFest had their own type of worlds, seeing as how Indy Suiper Nationals is pretty much a Mini Worlds anyway!!

Thank you for clearing that up. It looks like there is a good selection of competition companies that are participating. Even though this is not a USASF event, it's close in that all the companies participating are part of USASF and it is going by USASF guidelines. If we want to know which particular competitions are giving out bids, I imagine we need to go to the particular website for that competition company (e.g., Jamz)?

NLCC's version of worlds for all levels, Final Destination, have the following competition companies participating here in California: JAMfest, America's Best, GSSA, AmeriCheer, and COA. I only checked California, for more information their website is: theusafinals.com

It looks like there are about 22 competition companies participating in this one, most in the midwest and back east.

What I find unfortunate is for the lower levels you want to be able to say you are the best in the country, just like the level 5's at USASF's Worlds. But you can only say that if you are going against the best. The situation you'll have unless I'm wrong is some teams participating in Final Destination, others in the IALC. Maybe some in both, but I doubt it since that could be expensive. Any other opinions on this?

It looks like gyms will have to choose which one to attend if they qualify for both, which kind of sucks because you want all the gyms to participate in the same one, not split between the two. I thought the whole idea was to give lower levels a chance to claim a title similiar to the level 5's. Instead it will be something like "the best level 4 at IALC" and "the best level 4 at USFinals". Why does it have to be that way???

You had it correct the first time. It is usfinals.com, the competition is called UsFinals, and it is completely different than IALC. I think people will get confused and they'll think everyone is going to one of them and competing against the best when in reality gyms will probably be split between the two. So if you're going to Jamz you can try to qualify for IALC, but if you're going to JamFest you try to qualify for UsFinals, for example. No competition companies are allowing you to qualify for both, it's one or the other. I say right now all gyms should make a pact to choose ONE so that the lower levels can truly have a competition that is the best of the best.

You can't have two separate superbowls, isn't it crazy to even try? If all gyms chose the same one, it would be equivalent to a superbowl. Or you have all the winners of IALC go against all the winnners of USFinals for one final showdown of who is the best. Otherwise this just won't work and will become just another money making Nationals-type competition that really won't mean anything. That is why Worlds means so much to everyone, there is only one Worlds and the winners are truly the best.

Having two different "worlds" for levels 1-4 kind of dissapoints me. I mean it will still be a great accomplishment to say you are a champion at either competition, however, I was so excited to have something equivalent to worlds for lower level teams. Hopefully it will not grow into a bunch of other 1-4 worlds competitions.

For the west coasters, the IALC is in Los Angeles and the USFinals will be in Vegas. I imagine who goes where will depend on which one they qualify for and how close/costly the trip will be. But the whole idea was to have a worlds for lower levels and both competitions are going through great lengths to make sure both east and west coasts are represented, yet the fact that they can't combine it into one and have decided to try to market their own defeats the purpose. It will be interesting to see which one ends up having the most talented gyms attending, kind of like NCA vs. Cheersport.

I think we all know that the programs that want to compete against the top teams will be at the IALC. Jamfest is second best to Varsity in everything. Their US Finals seems like a desperate attempt to scrape something together last minute to compete with the IALC. Just look at the companies that give bids to each - Cheersport, NCA, UCA vs. Jamfest, AB, and COA. It's not even close!
