Gym names/themes/colors

Gym owners, and or coaches....
What made you choose your gyms name, team colors, and themes?
Examples; Ca=Bullets, West Coast All Stars= all things hot... fire, blaze, inferno...etc. Pacific Coast... has about the same themes, CF- jewel stones etc...
Not just wondering about these gyms in particular, just all gyms in general. I have seen all different themes, colors, etc over the years, and I thought it would be interesting to know what made them choose..
this is a HAPPY thread **hint hint**aww.gif

I do not know the reason behind the gym name. I know it started from a Pop Warner group 7 years ago. The first teams were named after the gym colors. When i started all the teams were named after stones or elements in nature:

Sparklers Tiny 1 (Non compete team at this time, although they used to be a non traveling team)
Emeralds Mini 2
Onyx Large Youth 2
Ice  Large Senior 2
Diamonds Senior Small 5 (This team was level 3 when I started)

The next group after Elements:

Thunder Small Youth 2
Heat   Senior Small 3
Lightning Senior Hip Hop
Fire Youth Hip Hop
Blaze Large Senior 4

The Last after Dangerous Sounding Things...lol.
Toxic Large Junior 2
Venom Small Junior 3 (This is 1st year)
Wrath Senior Open Coed 3 (This is First Year)
Explosion Small Youth 4 (not operating right now)
Poizon Small Junior 5

The last ones i can't tell you. We were searching for names and a coach came up with this as a joke and it stuck.

Max 5 Large Senior 5
Lil Mama's Mini Hip Hop
Team colors are Silver, Black and White.

Top Gun's Owners (Victor and Kristen Rosario) opened Top Gun in 1994 and the colors were originally red and black, but for their first national competition (I believe NCA?), they had no uniforms. They borrowed uniforms from Miami Dade College, the school that Vic and Kris cheered at while they were in school. The uniforms were yellow and black and said "Jags" across the chest, and thats how Top gun got it's theme.
