I would say FIERCE...not really the bows but the HAIR
While I agree the hair looks pretty, I find it very distracting when squads have all that long hair all over the place. It doesn't really seem practical from a safety standpoint, and to me it seems very non-athletic. I don't know any other sport where girls have long hair flying all over their faces. Titan does that as well. Drives me nuts.

The above is a great example of a post that might be tempting to argue/disagree/dispute and take random offense to. But you know what? You don't have to. You can just read it, take it as a simple opionion and move on with your day. No reason to turn this thread into an arguement over wether or not Fierce and Titan are properly wearing their hair and if there might be legal safety implications. We can do it you all!

VERY WELL PUT! I read that first post, and right away thought "Oh no, here we go again..." Thank you for putting a stop to it.
I WISH, I WISH.... (squeezing her eyes closed, clicking her heels, crossing her fingers...)

Well lucky for us cheer isn't like any other sport. We know when soccer and basketball tryouts are, we just to do cheer, where we are allowed to wear our hair cute.

LOL... i guess it is kinda sad that it comes down to this... im not gonna argue all im gonna say is... we have half up half down so they can "work" the hair
I'm on the fence on this one. I've seen some girls wear the half up half down style and thought it look cute. My daughter hates it. She says that she hates it when she is fighting her hair falling in her face and it hurts to tumble on it. I still like the straight high pony with the BIG bow. Our gyms is getting new bows this season. I'm hoping they are really BIG!
My favorite bows aren't from a particular gym, but a company. I just love the bows from Yella Ribbon. Ya gotta check them out! My daughter's ordering some...I guess it's her last link to cheer. :)
Okay, so I am a bow fanantic! I wear bows in my hair everytime my hair is up(thanks Amy G!) I recently ordered some bows from yella ribbon and absolutly love them! They were the texas size three inch bows and I love them! Then sit in hair perfectly and the sequindot bow I ordered is really nice and stiff so it doesnt flop around unlike the one's we ordered from the uniform company last year. They also came in about a week and I was very satisified! Hope it helps every one! Happy shopping!
Hi all, I'm Nancy from Yella Ribbon. A couple of people from another board sent me the link to this thread tonight. I wanted to thank those of you who posted such nice comments about our company. I really appreciate it. If we can ever help any of you with a perfect bow to match your uniform please let us know. Again, thanks!
