There just seems to be so much bickering on this boards lately. Why can't we all get along and just be friends. Thought I'd share this video about friendship. Heck if anything I don't think anyone can make any negative comments. OR CAN THEY???
LOL.... That was funny..it made me SMILE!!!! We are all friends....most of the time....Friendships are not always good...you have to take the bad and the ugly too! LOL.... it's the circle of life! Ok, it's late and I need to go to bed!
I think its only a handfull of drama queens on this board who do all the fighting. I like to think the majority of people on this board respect each other and understand that having an opinion is just that, an opinion we can choose to agree or to disagree. I applaud people like Acedad, flipkidjudge, airborne owner, among others who can come on this board state the facts add their opinion and appreciate others opinions. They call it like they see it without bashing kids, parents, coaches, owners, gyms etc. Friendly competition is what this whole thing should be about. Not whos merging, who has the same uniform, who has crop tops, who is jealous, who has gold, who doesn't, who is level 5 and who is not. This is SUPPOSED to be fun, if your not having any, then something is very very wrong. So with that said all we need is LOVE LOVE LOVE, LOVE is all we need....that was for you Nicoleee!!!
I think people need to remember kids get on this board and read all of these nasty things people are saying to eachother. I think a little respect and censorship can go a long way.

I have to agree with you amy on most things... But its not that its just adults on these boards causing the drama. A lot of it are the kids pretending to be adults, coaches and even owners. Friends have good days and bad days and sometimes you say things you regret and you say hurtful things to your friends. It comes with good and bad like the previous poster said.
Unfortunately, the boards is a place to say things you wish you could say face to face, but your mama taught you not to do those thinghs lol so you hide behind the boards. Most of us dont get offeneded by what is being said and we just ignore it. or cuss them out under our breath and write back something to retailitae. not the best thing to do but.... it happens. Second I dont always think the same person repsonds to the negative post and sometimes they are even from that gym. Just people stirring the pot.
cheerleading is a sport and its very competitive. You see football player, basketball players talking so much trash about the other team or a player. its part of the game unfortumately. its not perosnal just the bature of the competitive spirit.
Thanks for the complement! I try hard to give my honest opinion even if it is uncomfortable, but also look at everyone's side. But I am a coach and a former athlete as well and sometimes the competitive juices get flowing and I get cranky, especially when someone attacks my program who know absolutely nothing about it.
Without trying to be philosophical this morning if we would seek to understand rather than to be understood, it would go a long way in getting rid of some of the drama. For example I do not agree with the service position that many use to justify gym hopping. I think people can create an excuse to justify anything they want to and make it sound great. But I do understand where they are coming from. Maybe in time and experience I may change my view on that issue. After all i am still a cheer newbie with 4 years in but 24 years in Competitive Gymnastics at every level from the mom and pop to the regional training center type facilities. But I never will if I am constantly insulted about how "dumb" I am for not agreeing or how I am anti growth of the sport because of my concern for smaller gyms being swallowed up by larger gyms or practices that may be legal but are unethical.
Bottom line if I can get where you are coming from, I can see where you are going. That takes communication, difficult as it may be at times. Even if I do not join you in your trip, I will bid you safe journey.
