These are the Moments that I coach for. When an athlete hits the performance of a life time and all the blood, sweat and tears it took to get to that point no longer matter when they turn to tears of joy.
An amazing coach is one who believes in you, when you dont believe you can.
are you kidding me? terrible display of sportsmanship. we're so good we dont take our routine seriously or is it we don't care now since this is our last performance.

I guess people's interpretation is always going to differ. I looked at it and thought, "Wow, they're having fun." I hope they did.

i love the picture collage. proves my point exactly from the topic i started earlier. i swear alissa (the girl in the photo) is just so ecstatic after the performance. and again proving my point with the way our coaches reacted when we got off the floor. love it.
I think the photo where the kids are making funny faces was VERY CREATIVE. Not only that, but it shows that the coaches are "up with the times". Look at any kids binder, grab a teenagers cell phone, or go on to myspace and you will see a ton of these types of photos.....so to put it into the routine, very hip. I say 2 thumbs up!!!! Oh, and yes, you guys were that good!!!

Maybe it just DOSENT have to be so serious....it looks like they really loved this routine and had fun everytime they did it.
I thought it just showed a different side of cheer...a less stressfull side, it's a nice change....

I've read this probably 20 times now and I just don't get it. How wonderful must your life be that the "thing" you decide to comment on is a bunch of kids having fun at a cheerleading competition.
Next time, at least turn off your webcam so we don't have to look at you.

Somebody please explain to me how this can be seen as anything other than shameless self promotion? I seriously want to get another viewpoint because this makes me sad.

I absolutely LOVE this photo! I saw this routine on YouTube and then I saw it in person and I thought to myself, that is "choreography genius"! Awesome job my friends at cheergyms - you all are so creative and fantastic! This photo shows kids being kids in a very competitive, high intensity atmosphere like Worlds. I bet this was one of their favorite parts of the routine to perform because they each were able to add a part of thier own personality to it - that's grat coaching.

I don't feel this way, the focus is on the girl and her excitement.
