International

Ok...I guess I am a little "slow" as I can't seem to figure out the definition of an "international" team?? Can someone hlp me out? I first thought it was no age limit???  As far as you can be over 18, but then I saw Power is having a Jr international team this year as well as Sr international?? Are international teams always level 5 and above or are there lower divisions as well?

Also, What is the benefit to Jr and are these divisions well attended at comps? I haven't noticed in the past there being at lot?? What other California teams beside Power are having Jr or Sr international teams?

Sorry for being an old, uneducated cheer mom...lolconfusedconfusedconfusedbiggrin

As far as I knew it, International meant 14 and up.  I've never heard of a Jr. International, but I don't claim to know all.

jr international is for 14 and younger so if you have a 6 year old with a double she would be put on jr instead of youth ie mini team

PACE Empire from SoCal entered as International Open Coed. The took 2nd. After prelims on Saturday, they had a 30 point lead and were in 1st place. But 2nd overall is AWESOME, tho everyone very, very disappointed smile.gif
