2 bandaids (great for blisters as well) 1 bottle of Trylenol, Motrin and benedryl... (Motrin good for swelling and sprains, Tylenol for hedaches and soreness and Benedryl in case you get stung, hives, alergic reactions, ect and I just combined them in to one bottle cause you CAN tell the difference) 2 Safety Pins 4 Mini Tampons (guys can leave this one out, hehehe) Small bottle of nailpolish remover Small can of hairspray Small bottle of mouthwash (you'd be surprised how that nasty food can make you smell) 1 small baggie of baby wipes (good for EVERYTHING) 1 package of hair pins 3 extra hair rubber bands (how these get lost is beyond me and someone always needs one) 1 travel size of Qtips 1 travel size of Kleenex 1 small bottle of lotion but NOT for flyers legs.... 1 tiny set of nail clippers, scissors and tweezers 1 favorite SMALL blanket. You can use this if it's cold, to sit on, to put on your seat, to cover your bag, as a pillow, etc (the ones given out at CHEERSPORT are PERFECT) 1 iPod 1 Videogame system Small baggies of little snacks.
I always packed a little brown baggie of funny little toys. Little games, things that you would put in a pinata. The kids ALWAYS loved looking thru it, playing with the stuff, eating the candy, etc. And I didn't give it to my daughter till we were sitting at the competition. Getting on the plane or bus is fun cause it's still new and in the hotel they play around. But waiting at the competition is so boring. And being older, you don't get those cheesy little things anymore, so you'd be surprised how happy it made her and her friends.
