That really doesn't seem fair to the all girl team..didn't they actually place and get the At-Large Bid and the co-ed team got the bid handed down to them?

I am not from the gym, this is just my opinion/observation. If you made it into GSSA's super 6, I would consider that placing. The all girl team did not make it into the super 6, the coed team did. So you could say BOTH teams placed sufficiently to earn the at-large bids. I think it's great they decided to give more members than less a chance to experience worlds. Why not? Good luck to you NCE, and to all the others who also earned their at large bids.

NCE would do better in small all girl than they would do in coed. Small coed is CRAZY. All girl is to, but the NCE's style I think would do better in all girl. Hopefully they make it into finals.

how many "new" people can they put on the floor? don't you have to have a certain amount that can come on to the team? do you also have to have the same number of kids on the floor as when you got the bid?

You don't have to have the exact same number, you can have less but not more. I know there's 10 substitutes allowed, the substitutes had to have competed at the same competition. I've also read about alternates, I haven't been able to figure out if this is the same thing. From what I've read I don't think it is, but I don't know how the alternates work.

You're allowed three subs. as long as you rostered them at the competition that you won the bid at. These people don't have to compete at the competition. This is in addition to the 10 subs that had to of competed at the competition.

No, the 10 substitutes need to be from the gym. However, I believe, the alternates don't have to be. I did more reading and I thought there could be more than 3 alternates, anon12:42 are you sure about that number?
