1. When my Sr 3 team won 8th out of 17 at JAMZ nationals and jumped up an down like they got 1st. They had so many ups and down throughout the season and they worked so hard for their 8th place finish. Sometimes they can be "trophy snobs" but not this weekend. They even said that 8th felt like 1st against all those amazing teams.
2. Watching the Ashley Sullivan award presentation I SOBBED every time I watched it.
3. Seeing my Jr stunt group take home a Title in a Sr division.
4. Having "Jamz spirit" (I think that is their name) Make a tunnel for my Jr 1's on their way to back stage. It really brightened their already rough day.
I am sure there are so many more, but after such a long weekend I can only recall things from then.
Shout out to Starstrucks kids for being the only team to keep the cha cha slide clean while on stage (during the "hands on your knees" part)
And one more shout out to Footnotes Fusion. Reguardless of placements you all rocked dance day. Especially your youth babies. Keep your heads high!
my fav moment happend at spirit spectacular when the royal allstar cheer music stopped and they kept going that was a high light of the season those kids did not miss a beat at all
my special moments are whenever my daughter goes on the stage to compete and sticks everything that she's practiced so hard at during the year - even if the team doesn't take 1st - we're just proud that she's done her very best out there with her team --
My absolute favorite moment was when my daughter's mini lvl 2 team won Jamz nationals for the third straight year....they have worked so hard all year and even though they are still little ones in the cheer world they are amazing not only to their parents, but also their coaches. It is so nice to have coaches that value each and every one of their teams! My second favorite moment was watch Stars Extremes Senior coed 5 perform at Jamz and win the paid bid....it was VERY cool to see this team perform their hearts out and get the recognition they deserve for doing so.....I am soooooo excited that they will get to compete at Worlds!!!!!! My third favorite moment was when my daughter's junior lvl 2 team got 2nd place out of 15 teams at Jamz nationals....and when I found out that the only team to beat them had dropped down from a lvl 3 I was even more impressed by these girls (many of whom cheered for the first time this year)....most of the girls on her team are between 8 and 10 years old and Michael Chow, their head coach, and Mindee did such an AMAZING job with them....they should both be very, very, very proud of this team!!!!!!! There is my opinion that is biased by the fact that I am a mom!
